I will put *MISSABLE ACHIEVEMENT(S)* by any story which has an achievement. 4 of the stories have 5 misc achievements tied to them, the rest do not. Not all, but the majority of stories have clues in them on how to access the next part of the house and access the next story. This is pretty linear and not open ended. Essentially, the objective of the game is to visit all the bedrooms of the people listed in the pause menu, complete their flashback story/vignette (which all have very different mechanics to the base game and each other), and move onto the next. We are now in Molly's room.īefore we continue, just some info on how the game works. Climb through the gap, pull open the wooden shutter door. Open the book, grab the handle and pull it up. You have to physically turn it, it won't do it automatically. Interact with the book (should already have the key automatically from the start) and put it in the keyhole. Directly behind us is an open room with shark/aquatic decor. At this point, we don't have to worry about any peepholes or the single telescope for quite some time, so now we can proceed onwards. After this, turn around 180 degrees and walk towards the blue floral chair at the top of the stairs, then turn right and walk to the end of the corridor for Molly's peephole, Peephole #7/9. You should see a green door which is Barbara's peephole, peephole #6. Look in each peephole and listen to the dialogue for each for peephole #3/9, #4/9 & #5/9.Īfter these 3 have been looked through, turn around 180 degrees back towards the stairs and move to the right (past the bannister). After this, go up the stairs, go left at the top and you should see 3 doors at the bottom of the corridor (Calvin's, Gregory's & Sven/Edie's). Look through it and wait for the dialogue to end. To the right of this staircase, still on the ground level should be the library peephole #2/9. Proceed through the kitchen and you should see a wooden staircase. The order of these doesn't really matter, but the logical order is as follows. You'll now be in this house and its exterior for the rest of the game.īefore moving on with some story, we will be getting the majority of the peephole collectibles out of the way right now. Proceed through the door on the opposite side of the garage and you'll enter into the kitchen of the Finches' house. Turn around 180 degrees and you should see a white door with a dog/cat flap fixed to it. To make sure it saves, wait for the dialogue to completely finish before backing out (I'd recommend going back to the peephole after backing out if no dialogue triggers the 2nd time, you're good.) Move to the fence to look through peephole #1/9. They are triggered/saved by examining and looking through them. By the fence (with the 2 white chairs) will be the first of our collectables, which are peepholes and a single telescope. Once at the garage door, enter the alley to the left-hand side with the blue and green wheely bins. Instead of trying the front door as instincts might incline one to do, move towards the white garage door to the left-side of it. Turn around 180 degrees and return to the shed with the basketball hoop, and move onwards towards the large house. Simply keep walking, past the elk, until you trigger dialogue by a downed tree "No one had driven this way in a long time." At this point, you should unlock: At this point, move right past the basketball hoop (as if you were doing an 180-degree turn from the path recently followed) and head up the hill. As far as I am aware you can do this in any order, but the quickest route is to move down the left path first, winding through the trees and some dialogue until you come to a shed with a basketball hoop on it next to a Snicket-esque house. To earn it, simply walk down or up both paths (direction doesn't matter). We will be grabbing our first achievement here. Once in the forest, proceed forwards towards the fence and follow the linear path going right towards a gate with "No Trespassing." Move over the bridge, and you will encounter a tree with a wooden sign on it with "The Finches", and a fork in the road the left descending, the right ascending.
